The Untold Story
There is a fundamental truth about the world that remains unspoken, never explained by parents, teachers, or government. It is not a secret, nor is it hidden. It is simply omitted. This omission has led you to operate under an unchallenged assumption your entire life. This article exposes that assumption and its implications.
This begins with you and your recorded name.
Your birth was registered. A certificate was issued, and a name recorded. You learned to respond to this name, to write it, to sign it. You built an identity around it.
However, that name is not you.
The registration created a "person" in the system, a record. This person exists in government databases, assigned a number, and can be tracked, taxed, licensed, and controlled. You, the living, breathing being, are separate from this record. You existed before the registration and exist independently of it. The record is paperwork; you are life. They are not the same.
Government Control: What It Actually Means
Governments create laws that impose obligations: taxes, regulations, restrictions. These laws apply to "persons".
The government created this "person" through your birth registration. It is the government's creation, brought into existence by that act. Logically, if the government created it, it can control it. The government sets the rules for the person it created.
However, the government's control over the person is not the same as its control over you. The person is a record, a construct, a database entry. The government exercises complete authority over its own creation.
You are not a government creation. You are a living being, existing before any government acknowledged you. Your life, your very being, is not something the government made. The government controls what it created: the person. It does not automatically control what it did not create: you. A name on a register is not the same as a hand on the asset. The state holds the register. You are the asset.
The Deceptive Tactic
How, then, does the government's control over the person extend to you? Through a simple tactic.
You were taught to believe that you and the "person" are one and the same. From birth, you responded to that name, identifying with the record. When demands are made upon the person, you assume they apply to you. Taxes owed by the person become taxes you believe you owe. Permissions required for the person are permissions you believe you need.
You essentially merge with the person, animating it. You lend it your hands, your labour, your capacity to work and pay. Without you, the person is mere paperwork, incapable of action. With you internalised as the person, believing you are it, the person becomes functional. The government's control over its creation then wields influence not over paperwork, but over you, acting as if you were that paperwork.
This is the tactic: condition a living being to identify with a record, and you can control the living being by controlling the record. This was not forced; it was ingrained from birth, before you could question it.
The Missing Foundation
For the government's authority over the "person" to legitimately extend to you, one of two things must have happened:
- You agreed to assume the person's obligations, merging your life with its record.
- Your assets, labour, or capacity were transferred to the person.
Consider this: Did you ever sign such an agreement? Was this arrangement explained to you and your consent sought? Was there a contract? There was no contract, no agreement, no explanation, no consent. You were simply conditioned to act as if these things had occurred. This conditioning, pervasive in society, made it seem normal, inescapable.
For your earnings, property, or time to belong to the "person", there would need to be a document of transfer, a record of transaction, proof you relinquished these to it. No such document exists. Nothing was ever truly transferred. It was merely assumed. The entire arrangement operates on assumption: not law, not agreement, not consent. Just assumption.
The Illusion of Sovereignty
You may have been taught that the government is sovereign, its authority absolute, its laws binding. But sovereignty in this context means control over what it creates. The government created the "person"; it is sovereign over the person. It did not create you; therefore, it is not automatically sovereign over you.
The illusion arises from your identification with the person. The government's sovereignty over its creation appears to be sovereignty over you. But it is not. It is sovereignty over a record you have been trained to believe you are. Disassociate from the record, cease identifying with the person, and that sovereignty extends only to what it always reached: the government's own creation, a piece of paper, a database entry, a construct without life.
The illusion of control over living beings persists through the confusion between the living being and the record. Eliminate the confusion, and the illusion dissolves.
Ownership by Presumption
In plain terms:
- When the government taxes your income, it claims a portion of your labour.
- When it taxes your property, it claims a portion of what you own.
- When it requires licences for your activities, it claims authority over your capacities.
For these claims to be legitimate, there must be a foundation: an agreement, a transfer, something granting the government the right to take from you. There is no such foundation, no agreement, no transfer.
There is only presumption: the presumption that you are the person, that your labour and property belong to the person, and that the government's authority over its creation extends to you. This is ownership by presumption, not by law, consent, or legitimate transfer.
Presumption, once understood, can be challenged. It is an assumption treated as fact until contested. The entire control system over living beings operates on an unproven assumption, based on a non-existent transfer, maintained by conditioning that began before speech.
The Silence
Why has this never been explained? Because active deception was unnecessary. Omission sufficed. The conditioning is so complete, so universal, so reinforced by every institution, that few ever question it.
Everyone around you identifies with their "person". Every system treats you as if you are your "person". Every transaction, form, and interaction assumes this merger is real. In such an environment, the truth need not be hidden; it simply needs to remain unmentioned.
Those within the system, the officials, administrators, enforcers, are largely unaware. They are within their own "persons", following their own conditioning. They believe they are doing their jobs correctly, not consciously deceiving. They merely perpetuate what they themselves have never questioned. The deception is maintained by silence, by omission, by never raising the question.
What Understanding Changes
Once seen, this truth cannot be unseen.
- Demands arriving in your name are addressed to the person. You are not the person.
- Obligations you feel attach to the person. You were trained to feel them as yours, but they are not automatically yours.
- The seemingly absolute control reaches the person. It reaches you only because you have operated as the person, giving it your life.
This does not mean immediate freedom from all consequences. The system is vast. Questioning it brings practical challenges. But understanding fundamentally changes things. You are no longer confused. You know the distinction between yourself and the "person". You know the connection was established by assumption, not law. You know you were conditioned into a position you never agreed to.
This knowledge is merely a beginning. Your subsequent actions are yours to determine.
The Conditioned Reality
Here is the reality we are conditioned into:
- Living beings are born free, with their own lives, capacities, and potential.
- At birth, a record is created: a "person", a government construct.
- Through conditioning, the living being is taught to identify with this record, to believe they are it, to accept its obligations as their own.
- The government controls its creation, the "person". Through this identity confusion, it appears to control the living being.
- The living being's labour, property, and capacity are claimed through the "person", without any instrument of transfer, agreement, or consent.
- This is presented as normal, inevitable, universal. It is reinforced by every institution, never questioned because the question is never raised.
The entire arrangement rests on presumption. Condition a population to presume they are their records, and you control the population by controlling the records. This is the world you were born into, the system you lived within unknowingly. This is the reality behind the ordinary appearance of government, taxes, and obligation.
The Starting Point
This is not the conclusion; it is the genesis. Recognising you are not the person is the initial step. Understanding no transfer ever occurred is the second. Grasping that government authority extends to its creation, not automatically to you, is the third. What follows understanding is action: establishing your true position, consistently maintaining it, responding to claims from clarity rather than confusion. This is not easy, nor quick, nor a magic solution. But it begins with seeing the truth.
You are not the person. The person is a record. You are alive. The connection was assumed, not legally established. The seemingly absolute sovereignty reaches only what the government created. It does not automatically reach you. This is the deception. This is the reality. This is what you were never told. Now you know.
